Activity Days Working with the Community

To further develop the curriculum outside the classroom, the school has been involved in several community projects including working with Angel Trains to establish an ECO Garden, plant fruit trees as part of a science project and paint murals on walls.

These activities have helped enforce literacy and numeracy in a real life setting as well as showing the life cycle of plants.

The School Councils were involved in the decision making process to further improve the grounds of the school.

Previous projects have involved pupils working with staff from the Co-op Bank on planning and then improving the décor of the Student Club.
